The Eco Friendly Sierras

Welcome to our blog all about eco-friendly products, services, groups and information in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe area. We also list products, books and services you can find online.

I was inspired to start this blog because of EcoMom Alliance, a national group with a local branch started by Stephanie Bacon. I learned so much about services and products that I didn’t know existed, that I wanted to make sure others could find this information.

In addition, I started seeing a homeopathic doctor for my families overall health and have never felt better!

Then, another friend of mine brought me the book Gorgeously Green, which is an amazing resource.

I saw this as the universe’s way of saying, get involved, protect your earth and the gorgeous place we live. I walk outside to find peace and inspiration and couldn’t imagine not giving that gift to my children, grandchildren and so on. . .
